Follow Friday and Hop 9/23

Follow Friday is hosted by Parajunkee's View and Alison Can Read. Check it out and join in!

This week's question:

Q. Do you have a favorite series that you read over and over again? Tell us a bit about it and why you keep on revisiting it?

A. Well, I've read Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series an ungodly number of times, especially considering how many books there are (still not quite complete). It's an adult fantasy series (minus the elves and dwarves) that is pure genius, and the characters are just awesome.

Then there are the Sookie Stackhouse books that I love reading over and over. I love this series for so many different reasons (Eric) and never get tired of reading them. While I'm talking about vampie books...I also love re-reading the Night Huntress series by Jeanine Frost. Talk about some steamy stuff :-) Bones rocks my world, haha!

...And....Twilight. Whatever, you know you've read them a billion times too :-)

Wheel of Time series sounds so familiar, but when I look at them, I can't recall if I've read them or not.

It's official. I'm hopeless.

Re-reading the Wheel of Time!? *bows to you* I think I only read the first four books and then stopped. Don't get me wrong I absolutely loved them, but at the time I was setting aside important things such as homework, food, and my social life just to read them x.x I know I'll someday go back and read the whole series once and for all. It's totally worth it! I haven't read Sookie yet, but I have the 10 book boxed set staring at me from my bookcase O__O' I think it's calling to me. Hahaha
New Follower. Happy friday and have a great weekend! :)

Great question! I would have to say that mine is Twilight. Who can't read those over and over?! :)

I love your blog and think that you would really like a book by an author I'm working with called (S)mythology by Jeremy Tarr. If you want a unique PNR – no werewolves, vampires, or fey in sight! - you might enjoy (S)mythology. It’s sort of a modern day fairytale, and the heroine braves life...death...and the underworld to be reunited with her HEA (or is he?). :) It’s a sweet book, great illustrations, super fantastical in the Edward Gorey/Tim Burton vein. Hope you check it out and like it! :)

You can read the first three chapters and illustrations at http://www.smythology.co.uk.

The book is on sale for $2.99 at both Amazon and Barnes & Noble:

Kindle: http://amzn.to/promoprice
Nook: http://bit.ly/bnnookprice

Enjoy and have a great weekend!

Oh Bones, I revist his series quite a bit as well. Jeanine Frost is one of my favorite adult novelists and The Night Huntress series is way steamy. I've heard a lot about the Sookie Stackhouse books too but never picked them up. I should definitely look into them!

New Follower- love your background!
